In this fine arts artistic photography gallery you will see beautiful landscape pictures that are art like abstract photographs. While my images are technically considered landscape photographs, in this website gallery I think of them as mixtures of both photograph and technical digital art with an emphasis on bold color. While these are influenced by the more realistic straight forward photographs I have done in the past (some of which are in my other website galleries), they now combine the clear beauty of the landscape with an art like painted effect. Contemporary photography has truly evolved away from conventional landscape photography. The value in all of this is that I continue trying out new ideas and push the envelope “so to speak”.
Allowing realism of the landscape to stand combined with bold colors and art like effects make my images unique and suggests, at least to me, that photography has indeed evolved into mainstream art. I utilize many tools to create the vision, the light and the tone in seeking to capture painting like fine art photography .
